Smoothing communications and participation on dares

I am thinking of writing a sticky thread on the subject of how request Dares. Would anyone be interested in joining me in creating a "co-post", created by knowledgeful members, posted under an agreed upon screen name? Maybe someone would like to take the lead on organizing the ideas? As many of you know, I have been a part of several partnered posted threads in the past. I think I have some good ideas for smoothing out the exchanges between members daring each other, but would love to pool them for maximum benefit. Let me know.

A sticky is a great idea!

Things that I like to see in a dare request, which are often missing, include:

1) Are you male or female?

2) What type of dwelling do you live in? House, apartment, etc. Does it have a garage or a back yard?

3) Do you have the run of the house, or must it be confined to your room?

4) Do you live alone, or do you have roommates? For examples, would a strange object appearing in the freezer a day before your self-bondage scenario be a problem?

5) Do you want pain to be included?

6) How long would you like the bondage to last?

These are great ideas, and I am enjoying the enthusiasm. I will let this thread ride a few more days to see what else is gathered, and give any volunteers a chance to sign in before I act on this. Thanks to all so far.

A few ideas to add to rmcingle's good list:
- What materials and tools do you have available?
- What experience do you have with self-bondage?
- How long have you been doing self-bondage?
- What do you want (not) to be included? The standard lists that you find on the internet can help here.
For example, 5 points in order of preference and 5 points in order of disapproval.
- Do you have an outsider who can help you? Both during bondage itself or only in an emergency.

This thread will have to be postponed. Just had a major appliance failure at home, requiring research, shopping, and delivery logistics to work out. Hope we don't lose the enthusiasm in that time, prolly' going to be a 1 week set back.
This project is seeking a group leader, and a post editor. I can fill either or both of these roles when I return to the project. Other roles we might be able to use are a researcher to farm up information from other threads.
Please keep posting ideas and volunteering if you can in the meantime. I have a good idea what we are after.

But.......not sure this post I have in mind will have pictures or illustrations, maybe we work them in, see if it looks good and flows well?
Do you have a spandex or latex outfit? Do your ropes contrast in colour? I figure that would be best for basic demonstration. You will need to ask a Moderator if you want these pictures taken down in the future, as they will be posted under a newly created name.
