The thing to remember about production videos is that though no other person is apparently visible, (you can see the shadow of the camera man at at least one point) these so-called "self bondage" videos are not to be emulated. Around the neck bondage is a no-no in most any situation, especially self bondage, but this subject has the advantage of a whole staff to help if anything goes sour, probably holding escape tools and ready at a second's notice.

Be careful even if it appears to be a true single person video, such as "Cam Videos" that appear to be done as subscription performances, as you never really know if they were done in solo fashion.

Yeah obviously these have camera men and almost never show the release mechanism.

If it's not a true cam show, or something you made yourself, then the "Hollywood" effect comes into play. We have an actress running through a script and/or storyboard, and all the production value thrown at it. It could inspire ideas, but much like Hollywood movies, not to be copied detail for detail.
Understand, I will never do anything to discourage posting. Your offering may encourage ideas, what me and my partner, Kinbaku are trying to do, is offer a safer way to do what otherwise looks like it could be fun, and might even be modifiable to accommodate personal preferences, and physical or equipment limitations.
I might have just been confused about what constitutes a self bondage video. The only difference between this and what, say, Asianna Star does, is that her partner is in the picture and part of the script. They are both about bondage for endurance and pleasure.
Let me know if I am out of line with these comments. About the only thing I would not capitulate on is the unsafe nature of the neck bondage.

I remember seeing a video link from here long ago where someone laid out on a sheet of aluminum, the restraining loops appeared to automatically tighten up, and then a Hitachi wand moved up to the female’s center magic spot. It seemed like someone had made an awesome self-bondage table. However, upon closer inspection, nothing seemed to move mechanically and too many details were indicating that there were people under the aluminum manually moving everything. I really liked the video until members here pointed out that the video was movie magic instead of a real device.

I am someone who learns best by reading text instead of watching videos and am more entertained by learning than by content intended for entertainment purposes only. So, not the best person for suggesting entertaining videos.

Of course, that aluminum table with the automatic restraints and the wand is a self-bondage video that I would love to have as a genuine device operating demonstration. Creating both the device and the matching video is on my bucket list. Please don’t hold your breath for the video though; I am expecting the material costs to be beyond $5k USD and the development process to be rather lengthy. Someday though, I expect it to be on YouTube, Clips4Sale, and FetLife.

Even in this video you can see that it can be in a small detail (first photo from Shannon's post): she connects the zip tie in the wrong place: instead of ensuring that the loop cannot be pulled tighter, she tightens the zip tie on the long line to the bed head where the ziptie does nothing!

Even with so many people around, it is a very dangerous situation. When she faints and falls over, it only takes a few seconds for her to die: not enough time to free her in time.
I can remember when the swordsmanship teacher held me in hadaka jime and asked me if I could free myself: I didn't even have time to warn him and then lay on the ground in convulsions. Fortunately he was a specialist in kuatsu techniques, otherwise I would not have been able to tell this here.

I am thinking that I will want to use either the 4’X8’ sheet of aluminum or a good 4’X8’ sheet of stainless steel for the table top. Would like to have all of the restraint loops made from the same material (aluminum or stainless steel) and have them all gently but swiftly close in unison. To make sure that this is safe, I would like the controller program measure the person first by running a 3-wheeled measuring device up each appendage and something similar for the torso. The person would have each hand and foot on a sensor so that the restraints would not deploy if the person moves out of position. Such a device would be quite the experience.

Of course, such a device would have to be equipped with various devices to liven up the experience. Do you think anyone would mind if the controller was equipped with a “probe and fingers” device that gently feels around an orifice like it is clueless where the hole might be before it inserts something?

I really think that we need someone like House of Gord to do similar self-bondage videos! Now that would be awesome entertainment!
