So the General Lee jumping off into the air like that is very symbolic.

Of interest is that in cars of that era, there was enough room to actually do it on the back seat (try that in a Honda...)

Does she get to tell anyone is short denim cut-offs that they're "her" shorts?

And is bounddosster going to end up with the legs of his shorts even shorter? It'd wouldn't take long to alter them...

I must be very innocent because I have never done it in the back of a car. I don't think I could in my car the back seat is very small even for me LOL

That's why I always have estates, drop the back seat, you have a double bed.
Buy a big Volvo and you have a king size, room for three or four.

The ones pictured were the wife's choice and not to be messed with. However I have plenty of jeans with worn out knees so I could make some male version Daisy Dukes, just as a stand by until I can find the real thing. I'd need to wear knickers though or things tend to dangle out a bit.

Seems doable, I have old jeans and a sewing machine. I'm better at handling a lathe than sewing machine but hey I'm willing to give it a go.
