Happy Friday the 13th! Never have been superstitious; me staying in bed all day Friday was completely coincidental.

I'm not superstitious either, though i think most of it had grown out perfectly sensible advice like not waking under a ladder because something might fall on you or not puting your shoes on the table becausevof germs. In the old days people were that afraid of bad luck the threat of it was used to enforce sensible ideas but as usual with the human race some people take it to extremes. Like my mother in law, you'll never believe this but it is true. When we visit her house she insists you go out the same door you came in through or its bad luck. I kid you not.
Just to annoy her i use to slip out the opposite door when she wasn't looking but a few years ago she started locking the opposite door to which we came through so i couldn't do that, she is barmy.

Like a bucket full of paint. Or a stray brick. Or one could bowl over the ladder with the poor sod atop it, because of staring into the phone mindlessly...
