DIY Rubber coating for metal o ring gag?

I was wondering if anyone has put a rubber coating on their o ring gag. I was thinking something like the stuff that comes in a can that you would dip your tool handles in might work, but I don't know if it would be safe to have in your mouth.

Thoughts?

this FAQ says that Plasti Dip is non toxic: http://dipheadsunite.com/faqs/

I have once built a ring-gag from a curtain ring and dipped it in liquid latex. It took several layers, but then, it was quite durable and felt nice on the teeth.
It was a plastic ring, i'm not sure if it would work as good on metal though...

I'd choose food grade silicone. Something like this.

thats neat! would probably work pretty good for that!

the liquid latex i bought has a strong odor to it, so i didnt use it on the o-ring gag.

the o-ring gag i have is pretty comfortable to use though, relatively speaking.

probably my most effective gag too, it limits movement of the tongue without causing the gag reflex! and if you in any position but your back, the drool, OMG the drool! its like a waterfall! LOL
