I'm using a PWM controller board (DROK 200085). Instead of the potentiometer, I use a chip with an analogue output (PCF8591) to provide the 0-5V control voltage. It's connected to the I2C pins of the RaspberryPi.sbdx wrote:Very nice work!
Would you be willing to share the details of how you are using the Raspberry Pi to control the motor on your F-machine? This is something I've wanted to do for awhile, but am not quite sure how to go about it.
I would appreciate any help you might be willing to offer!
On the PCF8591, there are no external parts needed, just connect the unused inputs to ground. Programming it is done by sending two bytes, one to enable the output (01000000 (the other bits are for controlling the inputs)) and one to control the output voltage.
