The last days I have played with myself a lot and I am making progress.
Now I was thinking about spanking myself while (semi) bound. What to use and how to use it.
I have no machines and want to try it by hand firs before buying stuff.

Leather belts or straps work well. Also, some kitchen utensils, if you're into solid paddles, spatulas, wooden spoons, even large metal spoons. Thin bamboo plant stakes are good, as well as the heavier types. Depends what you are after. You can also make many types of floggers from leather, rubber, rope, twine, paracord, etc. Basically anything you can swing to hit the desired area will work. Some just hurt more than others!

Try with a long scart connector cable: cut the extremities and join them in your hand. I find it very exciting.
