Which requires some method of extracting the additional tools from their packaging, and so on...

 That cashier must have seen some real doozies in her time, because she's awfully nonchalant about having a bound and gagged customer buying scissors. :?

That sign is proof that double entendres don't add up, they multiply.

What's even more astonishing is the fact that they have the men working slowly in that tight hole.

Better slow when it's tight - too much friction might become a fire hazard. :!:

The last thing we want is someone running around with his parts on fire.

(yes, I said "parts", not "pants").

On the subject of parts, not necessarily on fire, I found this on a small box in the package (more double entendres) along with some new blinds I put up to brighten the place up:
For the chastity crowd
For the chastity crowd
First thing that came to mind was, this is for the chastity crowd...

Then, "man, that's a crappy French translation..."

Well, my deliberately terrible French translation skills seem hilariously accurate in this case: "The party is enclosed". :P

In any case, Les parties ont enclos doesn't make grammatical sense. "Ont" is from the French verb "Avoir", which is "to have". It's in the third person plural. "Enclos" is French for "enclosure", like a pen, sty, corral, etc. So a translation back to English might be "The parties (or parts) have enclosure". A much better French translation would be Pièces incluses - short enough to fit on the box and accurate enough so any francophone would understand it right away.

Well, that's what you get when you have Chinese translating English into French (I just remembered something from 10+ years ago when something labeled "spring action" was translated as action de printemps, spring being translated as the season instead of the one describing a mechanical part  ).

reminds me of a comedy sketch ("The Two Ronnies" for those in the UK who are old enough to remember them) where for reasons unknown,
the childrens' song "Pop goes the weasel" was translated into Greek, then translated back to English, becoming " a small furry animal explodes"
be a switch, double the fun :-)

I once saw "trouble shooting" translated to german as "Unruheschießerei" which would mean something like 'riot gunfight'
One of my favorite auto-translations so far...

It was either the CBC or the PBS affiliate just across the border that ran The Two Ronnies for a year or two, oh, about 30 or so years ago (if not more).

Those two were hilarious. Laughed myself silly on more than one occasion.

Translations can be so much fun!!!
(and sometimes confusing!)

" a small furry animal explodes"!!!
Too funny!!! Make me wonder how "bad" the rest of the song was...
All advice is checked, re-checked and verified to be questionable...

Jenny will have to speed up the genetic research on crossing Electic cats and Pikachus to produce Bolt Lightning Anti-Hamsters Moggies (BLAMs)
