Hi guys
how are you?
i would just ask if any one know how to attach an electric messager to the computer and use it with (CD Try Opener) for example
help me please
need some help (electric messager)
Re: need some help (electric messager)
Hello rubber-toy.
Can you please upload some images of your electric messager? Does it works automatically when it gets power from batteries? We need some more info to help you.
Depending on your massager we can connect it to an arduino board to feed it (only if it works as soon as it gets power).

just a quick thought, if you can get an infra-red intruder alarm (PIR) you might be able to use this to control the massager. As the CD tray opens by putting a filament lamp (needs to be hot, so LED or fluorescent won't work) above where the tray opens, and the PIR below, the PIR would detect the tray movement.
You would probably need a relay to operate the massager as the PIR isn't usually powerful enough. The ones fitted to intruder alarm floodlights would do this possibly directly ? with the massager connected instead of the lamp. Don't do this if it means messing around with internal electronics unless you know what you are doing!

The Selbondage CD Tray opener and similar programs can run external programs as teasing methods, so he can buy an arduino board to control the massager and let the cd tray opening to work as release method.
He can also play with combiantion padlocks using the Selfbondage LoKiTable Webcam, so release method would be the webcam showing on screen the combiantion padlock (you can untie yourself with hands on your back because you can not see the padlock) and then, yes, use the tray opening to rule the massager as you've described. But the most simple is to buy an Arduino board (about 25€ in catalonia) and code a program that rule the massager just feeding it:

Or just a reed switch on the side of the case that will be tripped when the door opens...lj wrote:just a quick thought, if you can get an infra-red intruder alarm (PIR) you might be able to use this to control the massager. All advice is checked, re-checked and verified to be questionable...
Don't ask, we both wont understand the answer...

Re: need some help (electric messager)
i remember a while ago someone claiming you could splice a vibe to a headphone cord and it would vibrate to the music. personally i do not think analog audio has enough power for that, but it is an interesting thought.

page 2 and 3 of this thread: http://forum.boundanna.net/board/viewto ... it=ohmybod have a bunch of ways to deal with toys controlled by audio signals, though there is not enough power to just connect it directly to the audio output jack.

thank you all so much
but can i know the name exactly for the Arduino board (model...etc
and whearecan i find this ?
thanks again

Re: need some help (electric messager)
Before you buy any hardware (arduino uno is the name), you must first check if you massager works as soon as it gets power from a source. Make a simple test, put the massager on, then retire one battery and attach it again, to see if with the switches on it restarts the work again.
