I just got in my extra large anal plug, I have been using them for years but nothing overnight, I was wondering if its a bad idea to have one inserted over night.

i know several people who do it all the time, including myself. the trick is what do you consider "extra large". one of those extreme 3 inch wide jobs would not be a good idea.

If it is one you are comfortable enough wearing during an extended period during the day, I don't see why not.
I've done a 3" long by 1.5" wide a couple of times.
