Usually ponies are trained in high heels or in especial hoof-shoes.
But barefoot pony looks good too and it is very yummy feeling in the trained soles.
Sometimes it is very hard to make the right decision.
But look at this!

OUCH! Obviously the heals are very soft!
Ponies tend to cheat, if you tell them to walk on tiptoes.
No cheating any more! The shoes are going to sting you immediately!

Maybe you need to add some locks!
And be aware the keys are mile or 2 away from you. And the path would be gravel!
Or dry peas and legos for indoor training!
What else you can do with this? Or you have some better ideas?

Wow, I thought that I have seen everything, But Now I have seen
some thing new today. I do not believe you could walk outside on any hard service for any distance with shoes like that. Your toes and the ball of your foot would be raw in no time.

The third set showed up in another thread some time ago. I suggested it would be fun to walk around with those on a beach, early in the morning, before anyone is awake, then watch people try to figure out what the heck made those odd footprints.

Do not underestimate the barefoot ponies! They are trained with barefoot walking on every possible surface. No doubt these shoes add the challenge and it is fun!
No gravel for colts and fillies! Smooth tiles – that will do!
You need to check the toes on the next morning. No broken skin and blisters will be accepted! But there must be a lot of tingling. If somebody touches them, it will make you wince. If it is not so, the next training must be double harder.
Beginner pony need to help. It would be just too hard to force yourself to walk. Your friend can help you with crotch rope or nipple camps or both together connected to the leash.
It will keep you going!
