Re: washing machine question

Post by RADER »

Take it from a part time washing machine repairman. The delicate cycle
uses the adjator at about 1/2 speed. The hand wash, much less than that.
The delicate cycle uses 1/2 the speed in the spin cycle also with the
hand wash. You still have to spin at a speed to remove the water.
Most delicate cycle's put cold water only on the final rince. Most hand
wash use cold water for everything only. Check your manual for more
infromation. :hi: Rader

You can probably find the manual on the Internet by searching under your make and model and snooping around a bit.

Yes; You can get the manual on the Internet; But it might not have all
the pictures like the real one does. Harder to read without pictures.
It is funny, learning to repair something gives you a much larger insite
on how to work the thing. I wonder if they treat thier cars the same
way. :?: Rader

I have upset a few guys with fancy vehicles by adjusting the driver's seat to me and them not being able to adjust it back. My favorite was an Ford F-150 with the power adjust pedals. The owner had to ask why he could not reach the pedals with the seat all the way forward...

around waisting part of a good tree after all. :) That is good for us

All this technical washing stuff aside...

What an excellent way to lock a set of keys away for a set amount of time. There may be a way of stopping a washing cycle midway through, but I'm sure it wont stop instantly, and if there is a way, it'll be buried in the manual someplace, and that is tricky to read with your hands cuffed behind your back :)

And another upside, you get a load of washing done while you're all trussed up in bondage. In fact the only downside, and it applies to all mains electrical stuff, is a power failure - rare in these parts, and the normal safety backups should take care of that.

One of the nicer things about this board are seeing the usual mundane tasks in a whole new meaning :)
