humbler ball vice

I am wanting to make a humbler ball vice.

I can get the length of wood to use, the diameter hole but what is the depth of the arc. in other words if you were to set the humbler on a table with the hole vertical how far would it be from the table to the bottom of the wood and the top of the wood? does it really matter?

there's no need for an arc, straight wood will simply guarantee a very "humble" position

the curvature is meant to follow the conture of your thighs.

so measure the circumference of those, and if you look at the picture you will need about 60° of the Ø.

I use two bamboo canes bound together with strong elastic bands. Very tight and the bamboo curves slightly to the thighs. Just remember to sand everything down properly.

Since these devices could cause some blood flow restriction, what would be a safe amount of time to be in a humbler???
