He'd be stuck in the UK, we don't seem to have many left. The secret entrance to HQ would have to be disguised as something else. A public loo wouldn't work either as they are getting rare now as well. Lets think..... ,
The entrance could be disguised in a piece of useless expensive modern sculpture that no one wants, likes or pays any attention to. Plenty of options there then.

Added camouflage afforded by the sheer numbers of those ugly pieces of junk.

Could also make a pivoting section of brick wall. Back up against it, hit the remote, and it swings around and you're inside Ali Baba's cavern. On the upside, you could dismantle one of the aforementioned horrid sculptures and recycle the metal and other materials for parts of the mechanism!

I’ve hit a point in my life where I really don’t care what people think. I used to be really paranoid and had all my gear stuffed in locked luggage and hidden away in the back of the closet. I got annoyed with that because it was a pain to get to anything when we wanted to play. So just recently I moved everything over to some low profile under bed storage I got from Amazon that’s actually designed to hold shoes. It comes with a bunch of different partitions you can move around. It actually came as a pair. One held just about everything. Even at low profile it was EXACTLY the same height as the bed, so I had to lift that up 3/4” to get it to slide under. But it works great, and everything is super close.

Under-bed shoe storage used for gear. My wife is a big fan of 'all like things together' so I think I'm going to put the second one together and start filling it up. Currently my sleepsack is elsewhere and will probably take up 1/4 of one of these.

I rent so doing something like this isn't feasible.

Our actual solution is a locked cabinet in our walk-in closet.
