Slowly getting back into SB

So I have been unmotivated and out of shape to really get the feel of SB but joining Jennifer in Control and having Virtual Master running giving me the odd bondage task it is slowly pushing me in the right direction I feel.

What are the communities tips and tricks for handling low motivation or lack of time/effort?

Like your title: "do it slowly". Just start with small scenarios and what you like. But because you are already with "Jennifer in control" and "Virtual master" I think that will not be a problem.
Also try new things that you never did before. Maybe you like it and can add it to your new items. :hi:

Trying new things is defiantly going to happen with JiC I feel. Finding new kinks you like is always nice and a added plus. I think it's about accepting that one needs to take the time to allow yourself to enjoy even the small moments. Not all SB scenarios need to be 2 hour tight hogties ( though that's sexy too ) just find what is right for you ( or me in this case ) .

My health limits my bondage to comfortable scenarios and laying down on my bed is the best way. A good way to be bound is ankles together, laying face up, and wrists together in front with something holding the wrists close to the belly. I have a Humane Restraint nylon transport belt from Handcuff Warehouse that works well.

Spread-Eagle is another great option. Be gentle with the tension and have the main release available the entire time. Panic snaps right beside each hand would be awesome. Just need a few inches of rope between the wrist and the panic snap to get it positioned correctly.

Delayed release methods (ice, electromagnetic, etc.) are not always necessary. You may have enough fun without them or may realise that you want a delay next time. It’s better to want something next time than wishing something wasn’t there currently.

Just remember to be safe and have fun.

Great tips! And even an item to add to my ever growing wish list of kinky stuff.

I think I'll try the lying in bed with just the feet and hands , cuffed, to just get into the feeling of it because it doesn't require much setup.

The one thing that has been holding me back though is the fact that I need to be available at a moments notice at random times so I don't really have the time to do it whenever I want. The only short time window I have is usually during the late hours and by then I'm too tired. I've been toying with the idea though to wear a locked cuff on one of my ankles to have something at least.

If you have ankle cuffs: secure one ankle to the foot end of the bed using the other side of the ankle cuff. With the key on the bedside table.
The same can be done with a chain and padlock.

Quick to finish and also quick to escape.

You can do it also with tie your ankle to the leg of a couch, but then you have no cover of a blanket over it if needed.

Will give that a try and see how that works, thank you~ I have a really sturdy leg on the desktop I'm using so that might feel good :oops: ( it's a upside down T so you can't slide of the cuffs if attached!)

Finally got some time for my self. I'm a little excited and scared because the keys to the locks wont unlock until the time runs out.

Next time you can tie both your ankles with this ankle cuff so that the chain goes behind the leg in the picture download/file.php?id=10346&mode=view.
That limits the freedom of movement a little more in how you sit.
And most likely, standing up will no longer be possible.

Will try to do the more daring version at the next opportunity I get. Not sure if I can reach the keys if I am locked like that. But I'm sure I'll find a way (I like it when there is no chance of escape :oops: ). I rarely have that much free time so today was a luxury :D During a "normal" day I'd just have the key close by I guess but even then, if my kid runs in to my room it's going to be awkward even though I he knows about my kink.
