Where Do You Buy Selfbondage Gear?

Post by AlexIsBound »

I've been off the selfbondage scene for a few months and now I'm getting really into it again.
The ropes are nice but release methods and tying the ropes are a pain. (sometimes literally)
So, where do you buy your selfbondage gear? Like, locking handcuffs- you know, inescapable stuff. I really need descrete packageing which is one of the main issues. My family are all over my business.

Here's what I'm after: heavy duty double locking handcuffs and ankle cuffs, ropes, padlocks and maybe a good deal for everything. I don't have a very high budget, £20 is the absolute maximum I'm prepared to pay for handcuffs which are the most important.

Not sure what made me want to get back into it I guess I just forgot about the pleasure. I was in a box tie today with my wrists pulled as close to my neck as possible. I also had my ankles tied to my thighs but I somehow managed to get into my drawer and snag my makeshift dildo with my mouth. After lubeing it all up I proped it up with my toes then slowly my anus lowered and almost completely swallowed the dildo. I couldn't get it out while tied, I had it in there for round about half an hour while wriggling and squirming then when my scissors became free I packed up.

Can't wait for your replys, I'm getting too excited at the thought of true inescapable selfbondage!

Off the scene for a Whole few months??
I guess when your young a few months seems like a long time.
I can relate to the excitement of "true inescapable self bondage" but there's no such thing in self bondage unless you intend to commit suicide via self bondage.
Since true inescapable self-bondage is ultimately not an option,
Maybe you should get creative with predicament bondage, where you are forced to do something to earn your escape as opposed to simply waiting for ice to melt.
Of course, a timed release like the L-Delay or Ice is always a great Secondary release.
and for emergencies, A third release that you would never want to use unless it came down to saving your life, but it could trigger your release in seconds if needed. Example would be maybe a key in a bucket of used motor oil, where you would have to spill the oil all over your carpet or bed.
Hand cuffs are great, I loved my first set of real handcuffs.
I have three sets now.
but there are other body parts you can tether to be bound. And it is pretty cheap to simply get a short medium or light duty chain that you can turn into a form of hand cuffs with some small, good quality padlocks.

agreed, the most secure way to be bound for the money is with chain and padlocks. you can get them at pretty much any hardware store.

if family is a concern, just wait till they go out for something and bring the goodies in the house.
For those that get it, no explanation is needed. For those that don't, no explanation is possible.

Inescapable without a key I mean. Which online stores do you buy from which have regular packaging?

Hardware store. Pervert heaven!

And if it's not ready-made from the hardware store, and expensive to get otherwise, I make it myself. That's how I started making my own corsets (being skillful and cheap  ).

I taught myself many skills, and some very, very grateful  admirers taught me some more.

Besides the hardware store, I do buy stuff from various bdsm sites here in the Netherlands.

They all understand to send the packages in a neutral box with no way to see that it is sex related. At least here in the Netherlands. The website will usually state it, and finding these stores is as easy (or as hard) as finding bdsm porn videos, images, etc.

I can join the "the hardware store is the perverts paradise"-chorus.
Plus I make my own.

More specific stuff like condoms, lube (just bought a pint of the best silicone lube there is) and vibrators I buy online

And we should not forget the greengrocer for ginger and phallic fruits and vegetables.
(And the plumbing shop for plungers)

Hamsters are best bought from a reputable breeder.

I make my own gear from time to time but it's never really good. My craftsmanship isn't the best and I don't have many materials. I need propper metal locking cuffs. Where do you buy yours? Again, discreet packaging is a must.

So you insist on buying handcuffs, you only want to pay 20 or less, but your worried about which websites are reputable...
Just search for what you want and when you find a seller that looks good, check out some reviews on their website.

I bought most of my cuffs and leg irons from the Handcuff Warehouse in the USA. It arrives in a plain box. I like the 19 th century Darby and similar bondage gear. All quality products.
