For example, you should provide a list of what equipment you have to work with.

It would be helpful if you describe the itch that you need help scratching. Surely you've seen something that makes you drool. This is like going onto a cooking website and saying "I'm new to cooking, how do you prepare food?"
My advice would be to read some posts and get more specific. Maybe include your gender, approximate age, whether you have a secure location where you know you can wait for a timed release or do you share your living area and have to plan for a quick way out if your room mate or parents come home. What are your limits? All of these are factors.
