The rivets in my clamps are solid on one end, tubular on the other, as I described. They're still far from the kind of strength you can expect from real rivets, though. Obviously, my clover clamps are different from yours.

If they fail, I would use a small bolt and a self locking nut instead.

Trying to place a quality rivet in flimsy material, is likely to ruin the clamp.

I wouldn't bother. I'd just go to the fabric store and get new ones for $4 apiece.

@Sir Cumference: cool avatar. I like Gonzo. My favorite quote of his is from Muppet Treaure Island: "He's got demons? Cool!"

Jenny, your fabric store sells clover clamps? I must admit, that seems a very strange place to find any kind of clamp (aside from, perhaps, clothespins).

Yes, we have heard about those pervertable clamps before, but never seen a picture?
Could we have one, please?

It is not just Gonzo, it is Gonzo the Great!
Dr Bunsen, Animal and The Swedish Chef are cool, but Gonzo is the greatest!
(And Camilla is naughty. What I would give for a chance to cuckold the Great G!)

My fabric store is a real fabric store, not a home decor store selling sewing stuff. The clamps in question are quite useful for holding fabric pieces together when aligning or sewing,

Ta-da!

As you can see, they also come with little C-clamps as a set. I bought two sets of the above some years ago, $4 a set. Cheap-cheap says the birdie! :D

The little red pads in the jaws are reversible - one side is smooth and the other has little teeth.

And yes, pull on the string, and they squeeze harder.

Notice that Animal was often in chains?

Hmm, interesting. I have a proper fabric store in town, too (given the name "fabricland", I would hope they are dedicated to such things.

I wonder if I could find them there. Do you recall what they're called?

That's it! :D

Fabric indeed... tee-hee...

And you do need a third hand when your other two are tied behind your back... :whip: :hi:

If you're getting bed sores from your nipple clamps, you've lost track of the difference between normal time and play time. You get that kind of thing when you're immobilized and hospitalized for weeks on end (and you have inadequate nurses who don't do the position cycling they're supposed to do to prevent it. (1 day on your back, 1 day on your side, 1 day on your other side, repeat, or the like.)
