Pennsylvania is like Transylvania but instead of biting people in the neck they just stab them with pens.

"They" always remember Transylvania in this time of the Year, placing it somewhere in Bulgaria, which, of course, is situated between Istanbul and Tibet!

Sadly my RL interfered, but after the last adventure in the region (couple of weeks ago) I intended to do a last trip (this Year's last) in It's forests...
I'd rather be afraid of bears, wolfs and shepherds (maybe in reverse order... the former are not so "selective") than Count Dracula's teeth...
(neighboring countries are renowned for the least toothpaste usage!...)

We have many interestingly named towns in my state. Pennsylvania is awesome, and I have been told the climate and landscape are similar to Germany.

Bulgaria? I remember it being in Romania, up in the northwest end of it. We used to have a Romanian receptionist at work a couple of years ago, she was very proud of her country's history and how Vlad Tepes defended it rather... vigorously... . Seems like Vlad got some bad PR for what he did.

And if it's between Istanbul and Tibet, you must be going the long way around.

Unless you're using a different version of geography... Or you're putting way too much confidence in your GPS and its ability to give directions.
