Suggestion a sales/exchange sub forum.

Post by Darkrope »

In my quest for good gear to use in SB and now in chastity i found that some of the things i've bought aren't quite what i expected. Not a question of bad products but more the wrong size or just not my thing.
I can imagine that i'm not the only one in this case.
Since common second hand sites are not that obvious to offer this kind off material i thought that it might be good to be able to offer them (sell, donate or exchange) to somebody else here on the forum.
Of course there would have to be some rules like no anal toys or only metal toys that can be disinfected by means of boiling for example.
Any thoughts of this ?
It's strange how much freedom can be felt in a tight bondage.

There has been a set of leather cuffs that was traded in a thread in the "Everything else" subforum, if I'm not mistaken.
But as for those fellow members seeking RL contact: We, the users, come from all around the world. And whilst there are 9000+ of us registered, by far less ever happen to post here. I'm not sure about how many registered users never even logged in after having created an account here.
So it might be rather difficult to find a person with comparable interests and thus comparable needs for toys.

Furthermore I see a problem in both payment/shipping as well as (potentially) with hygene.

Whenever you buy something online from a private person, in this case potentially even absolutely anonymous, you have to face the risk that your moneys gone and no or defective goods are shipped.
Personally, I'd not take that risk.

But maybe that's just me?!

I'd suggest you put your offers up within the "Everything Else" subforum and see what happens.

Some of the concerns you mention are also mine, like hygiene and defective goods.
On the other hand i also want to be able to trust people (especially if they have equal interests) and i want to have some faith too.
That trust and faith has brought me more over the years than what the few deceivers, which crossed my path, have destroyed .

It is a good idea but I think such a subforum would get very little use and any transaction made there would blow the anonymity of the members doing the deal. I think that very few of us would want to give up that anonymity when there are so many other sites that offers trading in used goods. But feel free to test the waters in the everything else forum, the moderators will only bite if you spam. Make sure you explain the anonymity issue in your advert.
