Idea for hide and seek program

Basic idea is that you would have many, say 10 containers (it could be any number) and release (key?) to your self-bondage is in 1 of them. Up until now it's been difficult figure out how to do that, without being able to memorize the right container from the start. For the software to know which one is right, it would need to know 10 locations, and some identification for each container. But if the identification is simple like numbers from 1 to 10, you would just know what the right one is because at the beginning the program needs to know. So... what if the identification is long random number like 12786318712376?

Ok, program proceeds in steps and only shows that 1 step on screen at the time:
(To start with you should have 10 containers that look the same. Could be small plastic bags stuffed with cleaning paper if you can't think of else, cheap to get from any store as everyday goods.)
1) You list 10 locations to it where containers can be hidden.
2) Program shows 10 random numbers and you write them on paper attached to each of the 10 containers. It is important that each number is unique.
3) Do this step fast; program picks randomly 1 of the 10 containers and shows its number on screen. You are to put release in it and for the best of your ability to not watch the number any more than to see that it's same one as on screen. Quickly move on to next step to hide the number. Also scramble all the containers in random order.
- Take a small break maybe, secure your bondage or something as to not even accidentally remember any part of the number.
4) Program lists all the 10 numbers on screen, but it has randomized the order, all with the place they are assigned to. You are to go deliver the containers to where they belong.
5) Now it's up to program to keep the number to itself for certain time or some tasks done. It might even tease you with giving a wrong location for key if you like, maybe depending how well you do in its game if there is such :twisted:

Further ideas for the number generator...
Lets say you get numbers like 1987412974, 12398719287, 312789812, 419829898 etc. If program in step 3 tells you to place key on container 312789812, there is a high possibility that you will remember at least from 312... Therefore it could give all numbers a common start and ending, like:
31298723553, 31257829553, 31278264553... Wouldn't that be much harder to remember? Then again
33398723444, 33357829444, 33378264444 might make you think of the next numbers more, so make sure program picks no same numbers sequentially.

I don't know if i am going to make program like this, so don't wait to pick up and do it if you are interested.
