sub247,
The program does not work with Windows XP. I just tested it on WinXP SP3, and although the program starts, it sits in the background doing nothing. I think I know what the issue is, but fixing this would take quite alot of work. I am sorry to disappoint, but I cannot support WinXP.

I know the scan can take a while on Windows due to an issue where it scans the same camera 10 times, but it should not crash.
You can try to edit the sbbj.ini file, Modify the [General] section to look like this:

Code: Select all

[General]
id_=0
resolution_=@Size(640 480)
resolutions=@Size(640 480)
resolutionsSelected=@Size(640 480)
For the '(640 480)' parts, use YOUR camera resolution.

Ok...now it shows me 10 cameras to choose from. But whatever camera i choose, i dont see what the camera sees on my screen. Using Skype for example works with my camera...iam using an android phone as webcam via ipphone.

tiemeupalso: Never tried on Vista, give it a whirl and see.

Maroduer: I really don't know if that setup will work. The program is tested and designed to use a USB connected webcam. Is your setup with the Android phone going through WIFI? I decided not to support using IP based cameras for this application. The camera connection can easily be lost or interrupted, which is not really safe for bondage type scenarios.

Someone pointed out that the rewards for Held DT and DT Held time past minimum were not working. I have fixed this in the Linux version (v2.30), see the links in the first post to download.

I have been lurking and reading this forum for a long time and I just had to create an account so I could post here.

I am afraid I have to report the same bug that AmberCDinNC and HomeHoney are having. I can select the camera, set the 3 zones...see video on the screen, but at the end there are no pictures.

I have tried both time capture and event capture (set up as described a few posts back) and while it creates a new directory for the pictures each run, no pictures are captured.

Still hoping this is something I've misconfigured.

BoundWendi,

I really don't know what to say. I just tried it again with default options set for event capture, and images are captured just fine. Set the options to look like these. Do NOT click the 'Browse' button, leave the output folder to whatever the default is. Image output should go to a folder under your home directory, inside 'sbbj' folder.

Also, I posted a new version for Windows. I'll post details shortly.

I have created a new version for Windows, v2.31, detailed back on the first page. This incorporates the changes from v2.30 that were done on Linux, and hopefully fixes the problem with held DT rewards. See that post for details.

I would appreciate feedback on this version. I have changed my development platform completely for windows, and now use the Ming32 compiler. So these packages may not work at all. I ran a few minimal tests, and it works for me on a clean Windows 7 machine. It will NOT WORK on Windows XP. All old versions must be uninstalled in order to use the new version.

Sorry all for being absent for so long. I have been occupied with some personal issues, and this project had to go into limbo for a time. Technically it still is, but I have tried to get back to it to fix up some outstanding items, prior to...

I have decided to release the project under a GPL v3 license, and will make the source code available. I am going through the process of cleaning things up and preparing for such an event, and I need to decide how to do so. I can release a code snapshot from v2.31 (current release), but I have quite a few changes in my repository since that version (new regions controller, more detailed stats. tracking). It may be more convenient to allow access to my subversion repository, rather than upload the code elsewhere. I am not sure if this sort of thing can go on GitHub or not. If anyone is interested PM me to discuss.

If anyone has some good suggestions for a 3rd party code hosting site that allows adult content, feel free to discuss here.

GitHub's terms of service has the following:
We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and Accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Service.

https://help.github.com/articles/github ... f-service/
Which really sounds like "We have the right to remove whatever the hell we want, but don't make waves and we're not likely to act on it". Would it be worth sending them an email asking for clarification? I suspect they're not going to complain too much so long as we're not hosting porn on there or something (I'm happy to send an email if you guys would like)
