Time only accepts 2-digit numbers. That means you can only set it for a maximum of 99 minutes. 3-digits would be nice.
Re: Selfbondage CD Tray Opener Simple version 1.7
In my computer it shows correctly 3 digits:
What OS are you running?
Does anybody else got the same problem?

Windows 7, and I guess I should be a little more specific. When comparing the "random" value to the "maximum" value, it does not accept more than 2 digits. It thinks the "maximum" value is less than the "random" value if you put a 3-digit number in. I do not have this issue if I select a 2-digit number for "maximum" time.

Unfortunately, I'm presently unable to test this one. Bitdefender flashes a trojan alert when I try to access the .exe (and subsequently delete the file). This might be a false positive, though. Does anybody has the same issue? I have the same problem with Memory Game Question designer.

Some antivir programs do recognize Autoit scripts as viruses.toto1 wrote:Unfortunately, I'm presently unable to test this one. Please take a look at: http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic ... -infected/
I always share the source code of my programs when required, they doesn't do any connection to internet and dosn't write anything in the registry.
But is fair if you do not trust me.

Thanks, I didn't know about this AutoIt thing. I was 90% sure that it was a false positive but I had no clue where it could come from.
Re: Selfbondage CD Tray Opener Simple version 1.7.1
Its a false positive. The UPX, which is an code packer for executables.
There is nothing wrong with UPX its a great util for many different platforms.
When executed it unpacks the code to its original executable size.
It does this by bolting on a small routine to the executable run address.
Which by staggering coincidence is what nasty virus and the like would do
I have had AV programs kill my self-extracting executables by try to heal them
due to a false positive.
It has been know for plain executables to get infected on servers unless they are zipped.
Some unscrupulous 3rd parties can redistribute your code with some kind of unwanted
additional payload. So pays to be vigilant and if in doubt only download from the link provided

Re: Selfbondage CD Tray Opener Simple version 1.7.1
Downloaaded and liked the cd tray opener program, only problem I have/had with it is that by opening "My Computer" on the laptop I can right click and hit the "eject" menu item and the cd tray would open... it would have been nice that there was some way to of disabled that function while the program was running. Otherwise the laptop has to be placed above reachable fingertips.
A different option (I guess) was if the program was running the entire screen went to the count down instead if it being windowed...

Hello tutor.
Yes, the idea is to put the laptop out of reach like the image in the first post:
.
Anyway there was an user asking for a way of blocking the cd tray because he uses to hide the key inside the tray. If I get this feature working then it will be included in future updates of the Selfbondage CD Tray Opener.
Is there anyone that can prove that the program also works in Windows 8 platforms?

Re: Selfbondage CD Tray Opener Simple version 1.7.1
I'm not a programer, can you tell me the line or lines of code that control the input to the line
Type how many MUNUTES you want to wait and press start what I'm looking to do is first change it too a max of one digit input meaning 1 - 9 minutes and if the up arrow is continues to be pressed have it cycle through 1 - 9 again. Kind of selecting a random time. The idea is not to be able to see the screen and one I let go I would not know how many minutes it was set for thanks.

I'm using the version 2.0 and it appears to be a stand alone program, how do you setup a ini file for this so when I run the program it remembers what settings to use (I'd like to set it for a random amount of time under 45 minutes and beeping automatically).
