Alexa for self bondage

Post by boundupone »

Hi all,

I have been keeping an eye on Alexa and other voice assistants, and I was wondering if anyone has tried/succeeded to use them for self bondage. There are a number of smart locks that can be used with them, but having never tried to create a new skill I don't really know what else is possible.

I would be interested to hear of any experiences, thoughts or relevant skills that could be used for this, but I do like the thought of "alexa lock my cuffs for 45 minutes" > "alexa play estim video for 45 minutes" and be sent on a ride :)

Have a squiz at this YouTube channel, which has some examples of using Alexa with a shock-collar based rig.

(Also, the Shocky Maze Thing" is kinda cool.)

I wonder what brand of shock collar is used. I need to find out how it is integrated with the Rasberry Pi device

I'd guess that the cable coming out the remote is soldered to the buttons, so the contacts can be closed by the Raspberry Pi. At least that's how i did it with mine.

Looks very similar to the digoo branded one I have: https://www.banggood.com/Digoo-DG-PPT1- ... 61113.html. The buttons seem to be hardwired to the controller. I haven't found anyone reverse engineering the control protocol for these things yet, though it's probably a pretty simple 315 or 433 Mhz signal. If it's rolling code it might be difficult.
How may I serve you? *Curtsey*

I'm currently playing around with Alexa...

One easy scenario is to use Stringify skill for ascenario like this "Lie in a dark room. Say "Alexa, start session". This triggers a routine that switches the light on in 30mins. Gag yourself. Find key after 30mins".

I also played around with a smart power outlet, that switches on a vacuum cleaner. I'm a fan of vacuum sacks but key release is also possible - use your imagination :)

Next idea is a bigger project with a small PC software that issues alexa commands via text2speech or MP3. The options would be quite interesting (random release, random timer, "false commands" like when you are waiting for the release but it says "Alexa, tell a joke" and not "Alexa, switch outlet off")

What would also be really interesting is to commission a video from one of the usual-suspects on c4s in which she speaks the alexa commans at the start and end of the video.

So far.
Always be careful and have a second release option.
