Adapter Advice on my sex machine? For what?

Post by MRico3434 »

So I recently bought one of these. and where the attachment docks on the "thruster" is a 3 prong A/V connector. as far as i can tell it's meant to communicate some sort of info. where the speed controler plugs into the machine has the same connection.
I just haven't noticed it doing anything.

Maybe if you can post some pictures, we can help deduce what they're meant for.

Well, i did post a link to the product page.

but hang on.

I found a style of the jack for sale. I have no idea why they would use it as the hookup tho? as far as i could tell it doesn't do anything. Like it was a leftover component from some random product line and just slapped it on there.

cheers.

Either it's for a powered attachment (So there would be a Positive, negative and ground connection) on more deluxe models (or possibly just always on, you could measure that with a multimeter), OR the manufacturer just needed a quick, cheap and simple connecting device for the attachments and just bought a load of XLRs.

The XLR is normally an audio only connector btw, used for many applications like microphones, speakers, amps, etc. They are very very cheap (.80 cents single piece on fleabay, so probably about 8 to 10 cents wholesale) and easy to get, so as a quick & dirty attachment connector they are not actually a stupid choice from a manufacturers standpoint. Doesn't really get any points for "quality design" though, imho atleast.

Yes, and it was about as informative as if I posted something along the lines of:
Walla!

I bought this car, and there is a connector under the dashboard. What is it for?

A picture of the connector on your machine would help.
The general product page is useless. I can't even see what connector you are talking about.

This is just a cheap connector on a cheap machine. It's not wired, just serves as a locking connector.

Did anybody else notice the amusing translation of the name?

It is a "Happiness Browser"...

This version looks like a mutant pink scuba tank https://www.amazon.com/Selani®-Machine- ... B011TI47B4

Sadly it seems these have just 2" of travel and aren't very strong.
