We have a similar place called "Links" and one called "Reviews". I guess that those come close to what you are looking for.
Then again there's merely a very fine line between sharing noteworthy discoveries and advertising, the latter being highly deprecated throughout the whole forum.

And I must say that we absolutely need to fix Joe's lack of knowledge about hamsters. I hereby suggest a subform titled "Hamsterology".
