Making appointment with fetish professional

Post by TdAdvtrs »

I think it's time, the self bondage isn't cutting it.

Making an appointment is no big deal but it is.

I guess I should I just write an email to a provider I see online that looks fun to me.

Hi I am nervous as fuck doing this, no start over.

Hi I saw your website and I have a fetish for bondage and like being a womans chained up prisoner and the rest of my rather vanilla fetish request here

I don't know how to tell anyone this stuff !

This sucks , I want to go play bdsm instead of just thinking about it all the time.

A chat on the phone should be enough to tell if I click with them or not but the whole idea of going and getting tied by a stranger is scary and it's kind of borderline illegal.

Paying for bondage is not but a happy ending is. Soliciting prostitution, I think I would like to skip that charge.

Its really not prostitution, its nothing like real prostitution where some of the providers have drug habits and don't want to be doing it at all but need money cause they are trapped in that life.

What about meeting for a coffee or something first ?

I don't know the etiquette of this whole thing .

I had thoughts along the same line; but most want like $500.00 for two
hours. I figure that would be the least amount of time for someone to
really tie you up or at least chain you up and have some time to enjoy
what you are paying for.
I am scared that I just might get robed or something bad happen, at least
that is the way my luck would run.

I called one well over decade ago and she came over and it was alright. Got tied to bed the way I like, some tickling an got smacked with that riding crop a few times , stuff like that with the whole fun dynamic between prisoner and keeper, and a happy ending.

Since I was drinking combined with much more young and foolish I took the risk and got lucky. She was just a crazy fun chic.

Maybe I am just paranoid but I think it is more risky these days in the US because the pill and heroin epidemic. I don't want anyone in my place shopping for stuff to pawn to buy that stuff.

I think I can tell the difference between a pros site and some one in it for quick money. It's like they don't have the fetish and don't understand the fetish and you can see a non pro by the ad. They just write dumb shit on the ad.

I want a fetish fix , some adventure , I have been both stressed and bored lately.

Lets see if anyone else posts about this.

I know several ProDommes, one is a very close friend, another is a regular at my local Munch, and the others I know through play-parties.

Not one of them would consider having sex with a client, not one would consider robbing them. These ladies are professionals, they provide a service involving BDSM, their business depends on their reputation. Of course there are prostitutes who dress up in fetish gear and wave a crop, but that is a whole different world.

I can't comment on hourly rates from personal experience, but UK rates would seem to be around £100-150 per hour, from what I have heard, possibly more for a very well-equipped place and a Domme with a very good reputation, so $500 sounds about right.

Of course, paying does mean you get to call the tune (not always, some ProDommes only play the way they want to, it's up to the "sub" if that is agreeable, otherwise he walks). You establish compatibility by pre-session discussion. If this isn't offered, walk away.

Finding a ProDomme comes full circle to the local scene. There you will find out about their reputation, and perhaps get an introduction. There are pages on places like FetLife specifically for ProDommes, of course you will have to do some research and ask questions, but that is a lot safer than checking out dodgy websites/contact sites.

But - why pay ?

Why not simply get into the local scene, meet people, get known, build trust. Then meet a lady who wants to play. They do exist! And you may develop a lasting relationship, perhaps at a play-only level (as I did, for a year, at age 60) or permanent as a full D/s relationship as my ProDomme friend has done with her sub husband.

Also take a look on fetlife as well, a lot of groups list their munches on there as well. It is a great way to find them and meet people in public areas for the first time. Heck many of them meet up at restaurants in the area and look just like a large group of friends that meeting so there is no worry of being called out if you bump into some one you know in the vanilla world. Heck, i have bumped into my own family at a large munch in my area.... little did we know we were both there for the munch.

well, I just put "BDSM East Anglia" (as that's the part of the UK in which I live) into Google and got several pages listing local Munches, our regional "go to" website for BDSM in this area, a ProDomme website ( a lising of ProDommes , in the ten seconds I gave it, I found one name I know)

My clever colleague PonyLady seems to think the OP is in or near Tampa, so I did the same search "BDSM Tampa" and had a very similar result.

Logically I know now BDSM is normal with gear even sold in the mall and it's discussed in mainstream magazines like men's health or was it men's fitness but I spent way too long thinking my fetishes were beyond weird and hiding them to just over come it and goto a public meeting. Or munch.

Hi everyone , when I think about getting tied up it gives me a boner. That was something I thought needed to be hidden at all costs for a long time. No way anyone else has that happen. That should only happen from looking at boobs and butts right ?

I wonder what it's like being Gay and coming out with that, it has to be similar to being kinky because for me that is in the closet.

Please try to think about such a munch without prejudices. And please don't expect everyone being at such a munch to constantly think and talk nothing but fetish / BDSM.
Most regularly the people at a munch don't talk a single word about sex (of whatever kind). They're there to make and meet friends that share a special interest, and so should you.
Yet, even though there might actually (in larger groups even probably) be someone who's willing to tie you up it's a rather safe bet that you'll not get any positive reactions to rushing things.
Get in contact with that group by simply joining the group first. Get to know the people there. And more important for those people: Get known. Be there for a while. Talk to them. They're NOT robots waiting for you to gove them commands on how to treat you.
With a little time invested and an open mind you'll pretty sure find someone who will play.

I'm just voicing my experience here. And I can hardly imagine that it will be all too different for you.

Hope this helps ?!

I understand the OPs point about spending so long thinking that kink was something never to be disclosed. I certainly followed that line for many years, but until the internet popped up, kink really was something that happened in secret, very much a "secret handshake" type of thing. Obviously there has been a kink scene for very many years, but it was behind closed doors. Now the doors have been flung open!

As for getting excited over the possibility of being tied - welcome to the world of kink ! That's why we do it ! Or any of the other myriad kinky things people do.

As Blacky says, Munches are very often "vanilla" in setting and conversation. Around here in East Anglia, UK, Munches range from all-out fetish dress to a quiet chat in a coffee-bar. The Munch I organise may feature perhaps a short demonstration lasting 20 minutes, or a general theme (next Munch is a come-and-try-it rope evening) or we have a "formal" discussion with a panel ( last time we discussed D/s relationships headed up with two people representing the Domme and sub sides of a long-term D/s) or a silly theme for fun, or a chill-and-chat evening. As we have a private bar to ourselves, we can be pretty open, but it isn't a "play" evening and no-one has to join in anything, so quite a few will ignore a demo etc and just socialise.

As I've said before, a Munch is simply a place to socialise with people who happen to be kinky. You'd have to look very closely to see any hint of kink, and that would only be seen if you knew what to look for.

Well since we already went off topic what about those BDSM dating sites ?

I found alt . com to be thoroughly disgusting with mostly pictures of genitals as profile pics back when I signed up and looked . Check this out http://thekinkyfactory.com/bdsm-dating-sites/ but is this site credible ? I know little about marketing but how can a site called "perversions" be number one ? I would never join a site called "perversions" cause of the stigmatizing sound of that name.

Many of these sites remind me of sites selling herbal weight loss pills, total lies and marketing designed to get money.

I am single right now and sooner or later I will find someone who likes playing tie up with me again. But it would be nice to accelerate the process and even better find someone who is already into it .
