New Lock for Belt

I have a Tollyboy belt but the lock is starting to get worn.
Before it jams and sticks me for good, I would like to get a replacement Lock.

I have sent an email to Tollyboy just in case he can help but in the mean time i have come up with a workable design so the key is not needed when putting the belt on but would take the special key to get it off.

If there is someone who can work with metal and help me make this new style lock and is close enough so we can work on it and test it (along with other ideas we come up with) then I am interested in getting in touch.
