Nah; the size smaller is too tight and blocks blood flow, the size larger feels like it's falling off.

The problem was when I was adjusting myself, pulling some of the scrotum back through the ring. So one hand pulled the held of the ring still and the other hand pulled the skin. In practice this puts pressure on the main body of the cage and so it acts as if I was pulling the ring and body apart. That caused the plastic to crack at its thinnest, weakest part.

Looks like CB6000's ring. I had the whole cage split in half some years back...

I use to have one of those cheap cb devices but got to the point there was more glue showing than plastic. Even made a new base ring for it. Finally gave up and got steel and love it so much more.

I had my CB6000s also split on the cage itself. Seems this device is prone to breaking, which is probably why they sell replacement parts for all the small parts. So you could buy a replacement part for cheap to not loose your CB6000/CB6000s.

I have moved on to the Holy Trainer v2 though, and all I can say is, this is the best cage for me by far. Its very sturdy because, although it feels like plastic, it isn't. It can take far more than regular plastic can (according to the people who make the device) and its not glued but sonic-welded so the material would break before its weld would, which is what happened in their tests. Or so they say. But my experience tells me they're right.

It can take up to 50 degrees Celcius, possibly 55. But not too high or it will deform, according to the manufacturer. Which I asked to see if I could simply put it in the dishwasher. I haven't tried it because the cage is too deer to me.

But you may want to consider getting one if you are consider to replace the entire cage, rather than its base ring.

I have a CD called "The Vice" Yes it is plastic, but it has served me quite well.
I do not slip out like the 6000 type, and others.
I have had it over a year now, and it was well worth getting.

I have the Vice too. Won it here actually in a giveaway promotion. The vice for me is too big, or rather too long. But otherwise, is a good cage. Though their gripping mechanism doesn't work on me due to it being too long.

I read somewhere that the Vice is coming out with a shorter version.

Yes, they already did actually. I have contacted them in the beginning of this year when it was about to launch in a few weeks. They are still working on the x spacer that leaves no gap after the ring and the cage, so that, if you have a large ring, the area where the sack goes through can be very small which will prevent any form of getting the balls out, which is even better than just the grabbing method they already use.
