Autoblow 2 How to make it slower

Post by Over »

I don't know much about electronics so I'm going to apologize beforehand for being dumb. I'd like to make the Auto blow 2 slower than it normally goes. The speed is controllable now but I'd like it to go much slower for a very long tease. What piece of electronics could I use to do this? Also is there a timer that could turn it off after a certain period of time? Herr is the link http://www.autoblow2.com/?gclid=Cj0KEQj ... AiFb8P8HAQ

"Plugs into wall outlet" means that a "wall outlet timer" will be able to switch it off for you.

How to make it go slower, will depend on the construction.

It is a crowd-funded project, and that will probably mean, that they are willing to listen to the customers.

have you asked?

Not trying to plug a company here, but I do a lot with models. The hobby, not the leggy blonde kind.

You could use a Brushed ESC(electronic speed controller).

This attaches to the motor. These pulse the power very fast to slow a motor down, but deliver the same torque.
Often other speed controllers reduce the power, and the motor slows a bit, then stops.
This would need to be paired up with a servo tester for speed adjustment.

And then I suggest adding a Lipo battery.

I have used this sort of setup on a Hitachi, but upgraded the motor too.
Its amazing now!
