Humbler/Bondage Base

Post by MSpike »

HumblerSmall.jpg
This is a DIY humbler made from common hardware items. It can serve as a regular humbler, but also as a base for additional bondage. The pipe is 1 inch PVC, with a 3 3/4 in. long, 3/16 in. diameter by 1 1/2 in. wide U-bolt, and a PVC hanger for 1/2 in. pipe. A 1 in. dowel could also be used, but by running cord through the pipe, more bondage possibilities are available. If you want the humbler locked on, two small wrenches (spanners to you Brits) can be used to tighten two more nuts against the two shown, then put out of reach or locked away. The pipe hanger is not necessary, but can be used to attach a collar, cuffs, a leash or whatever. The plastic drinking straws keep the threaded part of the U-bolt off your skin.

A neat idea :) I'm all in favour of DIY.

Instead of threading a cord, with a bit of effort you could probably get a chain through and held in place by one or both of the U bolt "legs", which would add even more opportunities. I've seen spreader bars made along these lines too.
be a switch, double the fun :-)

I second that... If one sees a smartly dressed, wasp waisted lady in a hardware store, wearing an evil smile, that's me!

I wouldn't be inclined to ship myself to Berlin to go visit a hardware store - I'd be hard pressed to read the aisle signs anyway. I'd rather visit your flea markets since they seem to have a lot more kinky stuff than the ones on this side of the pond (unless rusty old air compressors are one of your fetishes...).

He's Danish - more likely he's a manager of a fast food restaurant that sells sex toys as side dishes...

ot, but I'd say that bauhaus is the best place to buy something for bondage (at least over here). They let you cut chains and ropes yourself (most stores you need to ask the staff and think of some unsuspicious reason just in case ). Last time I bought rope from another store, the worker looked pretty weird when I asked her to cut the rope for me :D

Unsuspicious reason?

I never justify things I buy, unless I feel like chatting with the pusher of said object.

"25 meters of the 8mm rope, please" is plenty enough.

If you bring along the "How to tie up your partner or dog in 37 entertaining oriental ways"-book and start having rope cut to measure after the lists, then I guess you should expect a raised eyebrow or a smile.
But if I had to find an excuse whenever I bought something that I could theoretically pervertize..... I'd never be able to buy anything!

Feeling uncomfortable buying something from a hardware store? Maybe it's the t-shirt you're wearing, emblazoned with a giant PERVERT on the front, in fluorescent letters, no less.

Or your own nervousness at buying something totally innocuous that is being bought every day by gazillions of people around the world. That's just about as obvious as the pervert t-shirt.

Big news headline: you're the only one who knows what you're going to do with it.

Do I need to make a bigger headline?
