I am buying an electromagnet and a timer to hold the chains so I am held tightly spread-eagled between two walls.
I want to be able to move the magnet so it won't be found by anyone.
One thing I'd like to do is to chain myself over a stool and want to make a spanking machine ( a paddle ?) that I can set up on myself. It needs to start up and stop randomly and automatically. Any ideas?
I want to make spanking machines?

Re: I want to make spanking machines?
Here's a rough schematic of one i once built:
Here's how it works:
- in the armed position, the arm is held by the electromagnet
- the winch tightens rubber band 1 (bungee cord or similar) to the desired strength
- the electromagnet is switched off to deliver the stroke
- after the stroke, the magnet get's turned on again and the winch reverses to release rubber band 1
- rubber band 2 (normal household rubber band) draws the arm back
- when the magnet catches the arm (detected by a switch), the winch reverses and tightens rubber band 1 again
i used a normal gear motor and adjusted the stroke strength based on the time it was running, but a stepper-motor would be more precise.
i had the problem, that the rubber band tended to skip off the wheel, but that should be solvable. i have a cheap commercial spanking-machine now (http://www.spankermachine.com), but i'd like something stronger and might build this system again. I'll post instructions if i do...

Re: I want to make spanking machines?
I also experimented with a home-built spanking machine.
I used a 12volt DC electric motor and a control system that applied 24 volts (for extra force! )to the motor, with position sensors (Hall effect) to fix the "home" and "strike" positions. The motor was fed a reverse current to bring the paddle to the "home" position, with a weak permanent magnet to hold the paddle in place. When the motor was given the full 24 volts, it spun rapidly away from home, with power being switched off when it reached the "strike" sensor. By then it had enough momentum to whip the paddle (or cane) onto the target whilst not stalling the motor. The whole lot was controlled with a microprocessor (PIC) and applied a random number of strikes, at random intervals, sounding a buzzer as the paddle started its strike, and released the restraints after a random time.
It was very effective, but I much prefer it when a nice lady is holding the cane and applying it in her own special way!
