Make your own ballgag

I'be been thinking about making a simple ballgag myself, but I'm a little bit stuck, don't know how to go further. Maybe some people have good ideas or could help to come further?

I need:
- a little ball
- some rope
- a rubber band

What type of ball do you need? Is a ping pong ball big enough?

How do you connect the rope to the rubber band?

Here is how i made a ball gag, all you need is:

rope
small ball (size of a marble)

What you need to do is tie whats called a "mokey fist" knot, which is shown in the picture below. Make sure you tie the knot around the ball otherwise it wont work very well(not shown in diagrame).

The knot takes a little practice to learn but once you know how, its easy.
To make the ball gag bigger try using a bigger size ball in the middle or by tying the knot with more loops, the one shown below has three loops so making four loops will make it bigger.

Well done rattus88, this is a great post! Just the sort of information we like to see on here.

However I would like to point out that there is already a post running on making gags, maybe you'd like to stop by there and see if theres any other tips you can pick up.

If you want to make a monkey fist gag (is this a whole new category?), use a marble or ball of some type that is not toxic. Also remember that it is almost impossible to sterlize that rope, so the gag is a one person gag, not something that should be used by more than one person. Even as a one person gag, something that is not easily cleaned can grow all kinds of nasty stuff.
Since the idea was to make a ball gag, use a ball. This has to be one of the simplest of all toys to make. Get a dog ball in the pet department, make a hole with a drill, and thread a rope through. The rope is still the bad part, but if done properly it can be replaced or at least removed for cleaning and drying.
I went farther yet and used 2 eyebolts joined with a coupler nut that I forced into the ball. I can use either rope or in most cases nylon webbing, or even leather straps, and they are removable for cleaning. I'll try to post pictures of some of my homemade gear in the next day or so.

Just a quick post on the Lead topic (thats the metal not the being led around on one).

If you are looking for something heavyweight then good old Stainless Steel is the best bet. Although not as heavy as Lead (SS=8000kg/cu.m Lead=11340kg/cu.m), it is an adequate substitue it is easily machined, easily cleaned, looks nice and shiny, is relatively cheap and above all it will not kill you (used sensibly that is, I'm sure there are some ways it can kill you but thats not what this forum is about!!!).

If lead weights are a must then I suggest you but them from a specialist shop where you can get them coated in plastic. I have several of these for diving and they can be 'perverted' for other uses.

In addition let us not forget our old favourite - water -. Water is usually sufficiently heavy for self-bondage situations weighing in at 1000kg/cu.m. you can easily fassion a receptical using an old 'Coke' bottle and some string, make sure its good and strong though, you dont want a leak on your hands. I have a simple design to turn a 'Coke' bottle into a water containing weight, if anyone want to see it let me know and I'll try to post it.

I read the other post and find what it discribes to be what I refer to as a gag wad. I have used the golf ball in the pantyhose (tights) shtick before and find it wonderfully punitive. This example is more of a true ball gag as it is clearly a ball of rope. It is also different from the other example/post. I like variety. As for hygiene concerns, I learned in grade school that ANYTHING you stick in your mouth is subjected more kinds bacteria than any other orifice in your body. However, by simply uncoiling the rope and boiling it for three or more minute in plain water will kill 90% plus of all harmful bacteria. I would machine wash in hot water then boil rinse and air dry. Unfortunately this will not work with hemp rope as this process will degrade if not out right destroy the rope. So it is best to discard hemp ropes after this kind of use or "Take Your Chances!" If you prefer the later please let anyone you play with know so they can decide whether to opt out, I know I would.

I made a ballgag by putting some rope through a plastic ball with a hole in the middle, not sure what the ball was from (I cleaned it)

Why ?

These are not expensive to buy, and the professionally made ones do have that element of aesthetic appeal.

As for cleaning anything, small steam sterilisers, from mothercare or wherever, should work a treat.
