Internet of things, it's obvious main reason is a sensor to turn lights on when you enter a room... or... what would happen if some of us would get their hands on it?

One thing I'd like to have is a motion sensor connected to a spanking machine. It would make a corner time much more interesting... 8)
Those who restrain desire, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained.

@crazt,you can buy a motion sensor that screws into a light socket that has a regular female
plug to plug n your spanking machine.

Or just buy a motion sensor and set it into an extension cord.

It takes 5 minutes to read the instructions and 5 minutes to do.
All DIY-stores sell them and they are pretty cheap.

Be aware though, that motors draw higher currents than most light bulbs do.

So true!

Always check the specs of the electronics and whatever you intend to control with them.

If it is a decent gizmo, it will be written on it somewhere.

If in doubt, use a relay or two. The motion sensor should see a small relay as a small resistive load. Use a larger relay controlled by the small one if the small one is not adequate for the motor. If the motor requires more than that, good luck on the receiving end...
