Hi,
I searched the threads here looking for designs for a wooden humbler. I found one or two, but some of the links are dead...
I have the general idea, but I'm looking for information on sizing the hole in the middle.
Does anyone have any info that they would be willing to share?
Thanks,
8ruce

Re: Humbler
I find that a longer narrow hole/slot is better than a round hole
The one I made had a slot 60mm long by 18mm wide
Measure your self and don't forget sandpaper is your friend

Amos,
Yes, I normally take my sanding to 300. But in this case, I'll probably raise the grain with alcohol and sand like that a few times and stop just short of sealing the grains before staining/lacquering to finish.
