I wasn't sure and had to check Google maps, but Montreal and BC (I'm assuming British Columbia) are almost on two opposite ends of Canada. According to Wolfram|Alpha it's 3,700 km distance. 
Just to compare, the distance from Barcelona to Moscow is just over 3,000 km

Well I am happy here in bc and I used to involved in the local scene
But life has a way of getting in the way
