I love the idea of a peristaltic pump, but how do you keep air out of the line without having to prime the whole thing extensively before hand. Is there anything out there that would do that?

I like this idea a lot. However, I feel like the whole thing could be made from some PVC pipe and caps. I would glue the cap on one end of the short PVC. and then fill the other end with water and insert the free capless end of the pvc into water filled cap and insert into freezer. I didn't see this in any posts I read, but I also didn't go through all 20+ pages. I was thinking it should have a hold counter as well. Since it can ensure you don't pull it out too far, it should also have the feature to require a count covering spot 2. e.g. stroke 5 times without uncovering spot ...
