Re: How do I insert photos into my post?

For Windows users Irfanview is a simple and useful tool for photo viewing and manipulation. There are also several resizing add-ons that appear in the menu when you right click on a file. I use one called "Image resizer for windows".

Re: Which Vacbed is better?

I have used various vacbeds and made one myself, out of clear PVC sheet. A few points. 1: Zips are a pain. The types where you roll up the end over a tube and use a clip are a lot easier to use. No zip to break either. 2: I prefer a breathing hole. Other may like a tube or neck gasket. Personal choi...

Re: DIY EStim device

Don't forget the distinction between EMF (elecrtromotive force) and PD (potential difference). Both are measured in volts so it's easy to get confused. Like LJ I'm a professional electronics engineer and we just use them correctly without having to think too hard. EMF means that something is generat...

Re: What sewing machine for kinky stictching?

..... If only I had 3 phase power in my shop.... The answer is an electronic variable frequency drive. A friend runs a lathe and milling machine in his home wokshop. Both have 3 phase motors and he only has a single phase supply available. The VFD also gives excellent speed control. The only proble...

Re: E-stim punishment through PC audio jack?

@rur67, it was well worth writing that blog and doing the experiments. There are a couple of points that might be worth reviewing. You write of "....current across the chest cavity...." Currents flow THROUGH something. Voltages are across. It's a common confusion in non-technical writing. ...

Re: E-stim punishment through PC audio jack?

Apart from Gregovic, who is making sensible suggestions, all the other contributions to this thread are at best untested and could be dangerous. Statements like: "Audio is sent as voltage, but the best it can output is only 1 volt. It doesn't need more, and with little volt, audio can travel be...

Re: Wondering about the psycology behind

A few observations. Lots of kids play tying up games. Whether it's cowboys and indians, damsels in distress etc etc. For some of us it must make an enduring impression and that's why we're here. For men at least there's also a definite physical link between restraint and sex. For men, muscle tension...

Re: Advice on rubber/latex suits please

I have just a couple of latex items. I chlorinated them myself using the instructions on the Catalyst Latex site. Provided your skin is nice and dry, you can put on a chlorinated item without any lube or talc. Great! Chorination doesn't affect flexibility, it does reduce the latex smell slightly - t...

Popeye the Sailor Man

Not quite sure where this one fits but it's worth a look. At 1'22" into this cartoon there's something rather unexpected:

Near the end there's a "damsel in distress" scene as you might expect. Bondage with railway track!

Re: Lock a corset?

http://contourcorsets.com/ make locking corsets. At least one is shown on the site. The link to their locking corsets page is broken. Their corsets are LOT more expensive than the sorts of numbers being mentioned in this thread.

Re: The public, and planning your scenario - discussion

There may be some misunderstanding since English is clearly not the OP's native language. Nonetheless, LJ has explained things pretty clearly. Jenny has also discussed the differences between countries. Bad things occasionally happen even in liberal countries like the UK. Sophie Lancaster is often c...

Re: MODERATOR WARNING: ELECTROSTIMULATION DEVICES

... If it was a scope then it's peak to peak, RMS if I used a DVM. I appreciate there's a factor of almost 3 between RMS and p-p :D FYI: For sine waveform output like your hand crank the RMS is typically 0.707 of the peak to peak volts. However, the RMS of a square mark space or pulse chain is more...

Re: MODERATOR WARNING: ELECTROSTIMULATION DEVICES

@Anthony10, if you were measuring 3000V with a 'scope I hope you had some special high voltage probes. Ordinary 10:1 probes are only rated at around 500V maximum, as is the input to the scope itself. These tests were done a long time ago so memory could be faulty. I've also had a look at a TENS outp...
