Re: Ice Suspension
Here's another explanation. According to Newton's Second Law, Acceleration = Force/Mass. So when ice melts enough, you will start moving very slow, as the force will be small. Force is the difference between your weight and weight of the ice*7 in this case. And the moment you reach the floor, part o...

Re: Remote control
Ni-Cad or Lead Acid batteries can be a hazard as they have very low internal resistance and can produce a lot of current in case of short circuit. But alkaline batteries like 9V cells can't.

Re: random interval timers?
When 2 EEs get together it always does :) I am little outdated in this field. I remember it was a lot of work to make a working system. You need to get some software from different sources, make a board, programmer, learn all about hardware registers, etc. Pain in the neck. Perhaps it's easier now.

Re: Any thoughts as how to make an anal hook?
Just an idea. I don't use hooks. But wire hangers is one my favorite materials for DIY. Also duct tape and WD-40 :) Then I said you double it. I mean bent in the middle, so it's wide enough and can't cause puncture. Then being silly, I say you can make something out of epoxy or silicone over it. :)

Re: random interval timers?
Last uController I worked with was Motorolla 68HC11. I still have the development board for it. But no PC with parallel port to program it. Guess it was 15 years ago or so when I played with micro controllers last time. Never thought it can be useful for my other hobby. SB it is

Re: Any thoughts as how to make an anal hook?
Can make one out of wire hanger from the laundry shop. Just bend it to double and then bend to the hook shape. No need to reuse, as you can always make another one. Have to play with the shape so it will fit your butt nicely

Re: random interval timers?
sounds easy. Where would I get such a timer? and thanks for your help. I'm an Electronics Engineer, so this is a simple sideline, if you have the expertise I'd be happy to pass on the code etc, but otherwise it is not a casual task. I sometimes wonder if I could make a standard unit to sell, ...

Does this machine really hurt or just makes a nice sensation? Also, how did you managed to do random patterns? Did you use some micro processor?

Actually I made a mistake saying it was East side of Manhattan. It's actually lower WEST side. People there can put on anything they want and police will never bother them.

I found couple more guidelines. From a friend who is dealing with lead all the time. It's kinda complex overall, but anyway here's the simple form. Lead is very reactive metal like aluminum. It can easily form different chemical compounds when subjected to water, oxygen and acids. In pure form it's ...

... i wanted to see your links, to see what you are basing your opinion on. I don't have my links. It's the same thing. None of the links you find tell that occasional handling of fishing sinkers will give you lead poisoning. However washing hands before you eat is a good idea anyway. Hope your mot...

Actually I started on this subject with a simple suggestion to check Internet sources. I know, Internet has a lot of garbage. But it has some research papers from respectable sources, reports from health organizations, etc. that you can trust. But it seems like nobody here even looked at them. And ...
